Killer Frost is a DC Comics character with multiple iterations, but the most commonly known version is Caitlin Snow. She first appeared as Killer Frost in The Flash (TV Show) season 2.

Caitlin Snow is a S.T.A.R. Labs scientist who, after an accident involving the particle accelerator, gains cryokinetic powers. These powers allow her to generate intense cold and manipulate ice. However, she requires a constant source of external cold or she will die.

Initially struggling to control her abilities and resist the urge to kill to sustain herself, Caitlin battles her darker impulses and eventually learns to manage her powers. She becomes a valuable member of Team Flash, using her abilities to fight crime and protect Central City, often wrestling with the duality of her nature.
